We are vegetarian. However, eating vegetarian food or non-vegetarian
food is a debate. One should not force anyone to be vegetarian.
Jainism is not limited to eating or not eating onions and potatoes. Conversely
by just not eating non-vegetarian food one does not become Jain.
It is necessary to
understand the deeper meaning of the belief and learn with an open mind
about the Jain philosophy.
